Southern Railway augments coaches in select trains
In order to cater to more passengers during the peak vacation season, Southern railway (SR) has temporarily augmented the following trains with an extra coach on the stated dates. They are:

Chennai
Train no: 16031 Chennai Central – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 14 to June 29.Train no:16032 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Chennai Central Andaman Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 16 to July 1. Train no: 16093 Chennai Central – Lucknow Jn. Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 13 to July 1.
Train no:16094 Lucknow Jn. – Chennai Central Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 15 to July 3. Train no: 16687 Mangaluru Central – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Navyug Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 15 to June 26. Train no:16688 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Mangaluru Central Navyug Express would be temporarily augmented with one AC 3-tier coach from May 18 to July 29.
Change in service pattern
Train No: 22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express, Train No: 12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express, Train No: 22645 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahilyanagari Express, Train No.12521 Barauni – Ernakulam Jn. Express, Train No.22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express and Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express, all passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 pm will be regulated on the way for around 90 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by around an hour and 40 minutes on different dates to facilitate engineering work at Arakkonam yard till May 30.
