Pass percentage dips in Central districts
Despite the fact that the overall pass percentage in many of the Central districts increased, the state ranking declined and among the Cenral districts, Tiruchy secured the top spot with 95.50, while Nagapattinam scored least with 88.08 per cent.

Pandemonium prevailed in Thanajvur after the results were not published even after 10.45 am, as there was some technical problem at the office of Chief Educational Officer. The district that had 90.53 per cent pass ratio plunged to 24th spot among districts.
