44,896 arjitha seva tickets to be released online today
With an aim to provide enhanced services to global pilgrims, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), is all set to release 44,896 Arjitha Seva tickets online for the month of September, on Friday, TTD Executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal said on Thursday.

Tirumala Joint Executive officer, KS Sreenivasa Raju and the EO said that the temple management has received many requests and feedback reports from pilgrims stating that the earlier allocation of online quota of Arjitha Seva tickets is booked by those who have fast internet band width facility.
"Keeping these suggestions in view, we made some amendments in the online quota software and categorised the Arjitha Seva tickets into two categories, he said. Premiere tickets including Suprabhatam, Thomala, Archana, Visesha Puja, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana and Nija Pada Darshanam will be allowed through online dip, Kumar said.
Initially, we are giving a week's time to register. On June 23 by 12 noon, we will take online dip and send SMS and e-mails to devotees who receive the tickets. After the confirmation people will get their turn only after 180 days", he explained.
Meanwhile, among the 44,896 Arjitha Seva tickets 6985 tickets are for Suprabhatam, Thomala and Archana 90 each, 120 Astadalam, 1125 Viseshapuja and 2300 Nija Pada Darshanam taking total to 10710. While the remaining 34186 tickets included 8,250 Kalyanotsavam, 2200 Oonjal Seva, 4730 Arjitha Brahmotsavam, 9030 Vasanthotsavam and 9976 Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.
Online booking of rooms
To promote cashless transactions, TTD is offering incentives to pilgrims who book rooms through online, from July 1. TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said, “On a trial basis we reimbursed 25 per cent to those who vacated the room within 18 hours and 50 per cent for those who handed over the rooms in 12 hours.
We are also contemplating to install high-end CCTV cameras around the temple,” he said. He said that they were negotiating with the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer and Joint Executive Officer KS Sreenivasa Raju for making amendments for betterment of scanning process which will come up in the next 3-4 months.
