Speaking to DTNext, Deepa said that the commission should cover every aspect of the happenings in the house, including what transpired on the fateful day when Jayalalithaa last left the place for the hospital, she added.
Stating that only such a detailed inquiry could bring to light many truths about the house, she demanded that all those employed there in the past and at present should be probed.
In a reference to her visit to the house a week ago, when she was prevented from getting in by private security staff, she said, “While the doors were locked from inside, Jayalalithaa’s cook walked out of one of the rooms.”
In this connection, she said she had also sought an appointment with the Prime Minister. “We are hopeful that we will be able to meet him in person soon when we shall explain everything to him,” she added.
Stating that she would visit the Veda Nilayam again, after she had readied the necessary legal documents, she said, “the process has been initiated.”
