Speaking on the occasion, the AIADMK (Amma) IT wing state secretary Raj Sathyan emphasized, “The AIADMK is always MGR and the DMK is the villain Nambiar in the state. Come what may, in the end AIADMK will prove itself the hero.”  He asked the IT wing members to create good counter attacks to the memes created by the DMK men against the party.

Office-bearers from Tiruchy city, rural, Karur, Perambalur, Ariyalur and Pudukkottai took part in the meeting, the main focus of which was to tackle and counter the DMK memes circulating in social media.

“We have been organising similar meetings, in all the districts, in which the district level office-bearers are given ideas and on solid points that can be used in social media, which has been playing an active role in all fields especially in politics during recent years,” Raj Sathyan told reporters on the sidelines of the meeting.

Stating that the main idea of the IT wing is to take the good works of the government and party to the people through the social media, Raj Sathyan claimed that the DMK has been playing an intentional blame game there.

However, he stoutly refused that the DMK IT wing has scored ahead of them in the social media. He charged that the DMK IT wing has been blowing up petty issues and making false accusations agianst the AIADMK.

“We (AIADMK (Amma IT) wing) have a total of 700 office-bearers across the state and under each office bearer, hundreds of members have been working and so I reiterate that our wing is the biggest one and has several creative youths working for it,” he stressed and added that the wing has been planning to have more members into it even from the IT firms.

Meanwhile, the IT wing members have started to popularise MGR’s policies and his songs among the present generation via social media in view of MGR’s Centenary celebrations.
