BJP can never grow in TN: CPI

Charging that the BJP has been making use of the lack of unity in AIADMK to have the state under their control, the CPI leaders here condemned that the party cannot flourish in the state.

CPI leader D Pandian said, “Instead of focussing on topics that are less significant to people, the central government should try resolve inter-state water dispute particularly the Cauvery water dispute, he said. 

Condemning the Union government for banning sale of cattle for slaughtering and also to urge the BJP government to maintain secularism of the country, the CPI has planned to undertake protest campaigns across Coimbatore, Kanyakumari, Nagapattinam, and Tiruchy between June 29 and July 5. 

CPI cadres will conclude their campaign in Tiruchy at a public meeting at Thennur Uzhavar Sandhai grounds on July 5. CPI leader R Nallakannu added that the Centre stands to benefit from the internal politics prevailing in the ruling AIADMK government.
