RK Selvamani, president of FEFSI, said, “We have requested for a new book which will have a fixed salary for workers. While this was to be decided on July 19, we couldn’t arrive at a conclusion due to lack of support from Producers’ Council. If we don’t get a reply for our demands on wages and hiring of workers from other states, FEFSI will go on strike from Tuesday. Reacting to it, Vishal said, “There will be no change in our stand. We will continue to work without the support of FEFSI.”
