AIADMK cadre burnt effigies of Dinakaran at Karur

Following the recent controversial announcement party’s deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran striking down the party positions of several ministers and replaced the same with his close aides. 

On Wednesday, TTV Dinakaran removed the transport minister MR Vijaya Baskar of his Karur district secretary post and replaced V Senthil Balaji, Aravakkurichi MLA, and a supporter of Dinakaran’s faction. 

Due to the announcement removing MR Vijaya Baskar from party positions, his supporter and party members in Karur burnt the effigies of TTV Dinakaran for showing their opposition towards the decision. 

It is reported that the AIADMK party members had burned effigies of TTV Dinakaran in Aravakurichi, Vangal and Velayuthampalayam on Thursday. Meanwhile, the supporters of MLA V Senthil Balaji were seen distributing sweets among the people for him being the district secretary and hailed the decision.
