He submitted a petition in this regard to the Collector, Madurai. Addressing the media, he said that many Hindu leaders and leaders like Puthiya Tamilagam Founder, DR K Krishnasamy, who speak for NEET exam are being threatened and sought police protection for them.
NEET exam would definitely favour rural students and certain political parties and organisations are politicising the issue. Calling the people who oppose NEET as Maoists, jihadists, Christian groups and Dravidian party members, he said that they should be arrested for spreading false information about NEET.Tamil Nadu had become a fertile ground for the Naxals and jihadis and they are involved in disturbing the law and order situation in the state, he claimed. He also demanded that the state government take stringent action against those protesting and trying to disturb the law and order in the state ,said Sampath. He also alleged that Anitha was confused and threatened by anti-national groups and they forced her to commit suicide. Therefore, a CBI inquiry should be ordered into the suicide of Anitha, said the leader.
