Dinakaran loyalist switches side to EPS

It is said, Dhanesh alias Muthukumar was removed from the student wing secretary by the then party Chief J Jayalalithaa for anti-party activities when she removed Senthil Balaji from the party post. 

Muthukumar was a close associate of Senthil Balaji through whom he initiated all steps to get a party ticket for the Assembly polls. When the party split after Jayalalithaa’s death, Muthukumar went along with Senthil Balaji, supporting Dinakaran. Meanwhile, Muthukumar was awarded the same post by Dinakaran recently and was also working along with Senthil Balaji to establish Dinakaran’s roots in Karur. 

On Sunday, however, Muthukumar and his supporters met Transport Minister M R Vijayabaskar and got inducted into the EPS faction. “Dinakaran has been planning to topple the government, I could not support and so I switched over to EPS faction,” Muthukumar said.
