Another minister flays TTV on footage

BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan was quick in seconding the treasury benches demand for an inquiry into Jayalalithaa’s death by arguing that the government should immediately commission a probe to allay public doubts, more so after ministers in the state had expressed apprehension. Even Seeman of Naam Tamizhar Katchi joined the issue and said in his usual sardonic style that the state ministers have been lying on other issues too.

For, all but the AIADMK was demanding a probe into Jayalalithaa’s death till a few months ago. Not to mention, the same AIADMK ministers were defending Sasikala and dismissing talks of a probe when the entire Opposition, mainly deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam, who was leading the rebel AIADMK faction then, was going gung-ho over the incumbent regime being on the defensive

on the issue.
