queried, “When the Chief Minister and the other Ministers are not opposing Governor’s action, why are those not concerned with the administration worried about it?” Tamilisai also denied charges that the BJP was trying to rule Tamil Nadu through the Governor.

“We will rule Tamil Nadu, but not through the Governor. We will rule by ourselves and not by using the AIADMK.

You cannot say we will not come to power. We are strengthening our party.

You will see the results in the coming local body elections,” she asserted.

Meanwhile, Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy said that the BJP was interfering in the administration of non-BJP-ruled states. “Even the Prime Minister was scared to come to Tamil Nadu when it was under the regime of former CMs M Karunanidhi and J Jayalalithaa.

With this being the scenario, who gave powers to the Governor to conduct a review meeting,” he asked.

He wondered whether PM Narendra Modi would sport a happy face if President decided to conduct a similar meeting of officials and start interfering with Centre’s powers.
