Crocodile scare in Nagapattinam

It is said, that the reptile was spotted by an elderly woman from the village in the vettar, a sub canal of the Cauvery. As people have to wade through the vettar to reach shops and schools, people are panic stricken.

Meanwhile, residents who have been demanding a bridge across the vettar for long, have now approached the government to build at least a temporary bridge for them to enable them to cross the river.
