Kamal takes on new avatar, Rajini sticks to spiritual role

While the Superstar, who is an ardent devotee of Saint Raghavendra, was seen offering prayers at the Sree Raghavendra Swamy temple in Mantralayam on the banks of the Tungabadra river on Tuesday ahead of the release of his 2.0 movie, following which his fans expect to make a political announcement, Kamal, who has been commenting on diverse social issues of late criticising the government, took to Twitter once again to make another strong statement. 

The actor, on Tuesday evening, changed his profile picture on Twitter to one that depicted him in the image of revolutionary poet Subramania Bharati.

His stark red and black picture seems to indicate that he would lead the battle to usher in a new era in the state. Soon after he changed the profile picture, the image went viral on all social media, drawing a huge response. 

Only the coming weeks and months would reveal if Rajini’s spiritual approach or Kamal’s revolutionary tactic would usher in a new political era in the state.
