Talking to the media at the airport, he said the government under Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami should have stopped the raids by approaching the Court and denied that the Veda Nilayam residence is under their control. He also asserted that he would get ‘Two Leaves’ from the Election Commission.

Dinakaran had planned to tour around the state and conduct meetings with his supporters from November 24. He would hold the first meeting on that day in Coimbatore and visit Vellore, Salem, Chennai, Tirunelveli, Thanjavur and Madurai.

The meetings would last till December 22. He had also planned to hold a rally in Chennai in December to commemorate the death anniversary of Jayalalithaa.
