Dinakaran goes into a huddle
Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dinakaran held a meeting with his supporters on the election works to be carried out in the RK Nagar bypoll and the future course of the party after losing the ‘Two Leaves’ symbol.

Key functionaries of his party including whip P Vetrival, propaganda secretary Thangathamizhselvan and former minister Senthil Balaji took part in the meeting at Dinakaran’s Adyar residence. They also discussed the date for him to file the nomination papers.
MDMK to conduct meeting
Meanwhile, the MDMK said that it would conduct a meeting of its high level committee on December 3 to decide on the poll strategy. The party had boycotted the election last time. Party leader Vaiko told reporters at the airport that his party leaders would discuss extending support to the DMK. He declined to comment on the EC verdict on ‘Two Leaves’ saying that it is an internal matter of the ruling party.
BJP undecided
Whereas, the BJP held a meeting to decide on contesting the poll and it would hold another meeting on Sunday to take a call. The party had fielded film director GangaiAmaran when the by-poll was scheduled for April 12. The DMDK which fielded a candidate last time had announced that it would boycott the poll.
