TN’s NCC Directorate continues its winning streak
Participants from the National Cadets Corps (NCC) Directorate, Tamil Nadu, have time and again proved their mettle at the National Level, by being adjudged as the ‘Best’ all-India Cadets in Senior Division and Senior Wing of NCC for the last two years

This year too, the cadets from the state directorate continued their winning streak, having been awarded the Best All India Army Wing Directorate (2017) in Thal Sainik camp and Best All India Air Wing Directorate (2017) in Vayu Sainik camp in the recently conducted competitions held in New Delhi and Jodhpur respectively.
The cadets of the Directorate were also judged overall runners-up in the all-India Naval Wing Directorate 2017 in Nau Sainik camp, held at Karwar. Besides these trophies, cadets of the Directorate have won a number of gold and silver medals in various team events and individual events.
The NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu celebrated its 69th anniversary of NCC Raising Day on Sunday. In keeping with this year theme of ‘Blood Donation’ for NCC Day, all officers, associate NCC officers, instructors and senior boys and girls cadets voluntarily donated 4,000 units of blood at many places inTamil Nadu, Puducherry and Port Blair.
