DMK leader MK Stalin had a chat with MDMK General Secretary Vaiko at the Coimbatore airport on Thursday, triggering speculations of a political realignment in Tamil Nadu.

However, Vaiko dismissed the rumours, claiming that nothing political was discussed in the meeting. “We interacted to maintain a political etiquette and nothing related to politics, including the upcoming RK Nagar bypoll was discussed,” he said.
