Job cheating case registered against Perambalur ADSP
A cheating case against three persons, including the Perambalur ADSP, was registered at Tiruchy on Wednesday. It is said that he had cheated a person with the false promise of arranging a government job through TNPSC and received Rs 35 lakh from the victim.

It is said, Balamurugan (37) from Thengaithittu in Puducherry, working in a private firm, was trying for a government job since 2014.
Therefore, his father-in-law Sekar and mother-in-law Sivakami, residents of Tiruchyn asked him to approach their family friend and the then Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cantonment) Gnana Sivakumar, who reportedly received Rs 35 lakh for arranging government job through the TNPSC but he failed to arrange for the job.
Meanwhile, Gnana Sivakumar was promoted as ADSP and was transferred to Perambalur. Balamurugan kept on inquiring about his job but it is said, he had not given a proper reply. Subsequently, he approached the City Police Commissioner A Amalraj and lodged a complaint against the ADSP and his parents-inlaw Sekar and Sivakami.
The Commissioner who received the complaint asked the crime branch police to investigate and register a case.
On Wednesday, the crime branch police registered a case against ADSP Gnana Sivakumar, Sekar and Sivakami. Further investigation is on.
