Petitioner Jegathalapradhapan had stated that currently Arunagirinadhar is serving as its 292nd Adheenam for the past 25 years. In the meantime, Nithyananda by entering the Adheenam had forged documents and had announced himself as the head. Nithyananda with an ulterior motive had filed a petition in the High Court Bench to provide protection for entering the Adheenam premises. If he is allowed to do so, it would create unwanted ruckus, said the petitioner.
When the petition was heard on Tuesday, Judge Mahadevan said that when the 292nd Madurai Adheenam is alive, Nithyananda cannot proclaim himself as the 293rd Adheenam. So, Nithyananda should immediately file a petition to withdraw his earlier petition seeking permission to enter Madurai Adheenam and should stop proclaiming him to be the 293rd head or else criminal action would be directed against him. The Judge also extended the stay for Nithyananda from entering the Adheenam.
