Krishnapriya herself had been summoned by the Commission to appear on January 2 and she could submit the medical records if the Commission permitted it.

Sasikala had been summoned by the Commission, since she is aware of the treatment provided to Jayalalithaa from the beginning.

Besides, Apollo Hospitals could have given the medical documents of the former chief minister to Sasikala.

The Commission had issued summons to her asking her to submit the records in 15 days. However, Sasikala is unlikely to have the documents with her since she is in prison.

It is said the documents are at Krishnapriya’s house. So, Sasikala may ask her niece to take the documents with her when she appears before the Commission.

The summons had been sent through post with a copy through e-mail.

Sasikala would have to obtain recognition from the prison authorities as well as the Commission to submit the documents through Krishnapriya.Speaking to reporters earlier, RK Nagar legislator TTV Dinakaran had said Sasikala is yet to receive the original copy of the document and she would convey her decision once she got the summons. Besides, he had also pointed out that

Sasikala had not been instructed to appear in person before the Commission.

Arumughaswamy Commission had also summoned Dinakaran and other relatives of Sasikala also to appear before it and submit the evidence including the viral video footage, which showed Jayalalithaa on a hospital bed.
