Prove majority before budget, PMK urges Government
The PMK has urged the government not to present budget without proving majority in the House.

Addressing the media in Krishnagiri on Wednes PMK day, founder-president, S Ramadoss said, “The EPS-led government has decided to convene the Assembly session next week for presenting the budget for 2018-19. However, Chief Mininster Edappadi K Palaniswani has no any right and power to present the budget, as his government lost majority six months ago,” he said.
The EPS government has only 111 legislators, while opposition parties have 122 members. “Given this, the government should prove its majority. TTV Dinakaran’s supporters have been disqualified and there is a case in court. The government is hasty in presenting the budget,” he charged.
