Woman kills her 2 kids, attempts suicide

While the two children drowned, the woman who was rescued was undergoing in a hospital.

V Vijayalakhmi (34), a resident of Andalkovil Puthur of Karur district, was working in TNPL, Karur. On Thursday, Vijayalakhmi along with her husband Vijaya Kumar (38) and their two children Yazhini (6) and Pranith (2) had visited one of her colleagues who was ailing in Chennai. 

The family returned on Friday morning and Vijayalakshmi asked her husband to drop her and the children at her paternal home in Moolimangalam. Vijay Kumar initially refused but later he took them there.

Around 2 pm, she along with her children went to a well nearby. She threw her children into the well and later jumped into it as well. While the kids drowned, she was rescued.
