Kanimozhi, who chaired the meeting of party women’s wing, told reporters that the Centre was forcing unwanted projects on the state despite opposition.
Accusing the Centre and state of turning a blind eye to the protests of farmers and workers, Kanimozhi referred to the absence of Tamil Nadu in the list of states to get Central medical institution in the budget and said the ruling AIADMK lack the courage to raise its voice against the Centre.
The DMK Rajya Sabha member also criticised the ruling BJP for not making efforts to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in the Parliament despite having the required majority.
