Ahead of his political journey, Kamal calls on Rajini
Actor Kamal Haasan, who would be embarking on his political journey on February 21, on Sunday called on his good friend and Superstar Rajinikanth, who too has confirmed his entry into politics by contesting the next Assembly polls due in 2021.

Later talking to reporters, Kamal said the meeting was purely based on friendship and has nothing to do with politics.
"It is a courtesy call, purely out of friendship. I came to inform Rajini about my political tour...Rajini wished me good luck", he added.
The 63-year-old Viswaroopam actor said he was embarking on an important journey of his life (on February 21) and before that he wanted to meet people whom he like.
He said "I have earlier informed him (Rajini) of my political entry. Now, since I am going to announce my political party, party flag and policies on February 21, I came to inform him about it", he added.
Rajinikanth addressed the outside his Poes Garden residence and wished Kamal the best for his political journey.
"Kamal wants to serve the people of Tamil Nadu. I pray to God that he attains success," Rajinikanth said.
"He has not entered politics for fame or money but only to serve people of the state", Rajini added.
Kamal had already ruled out any alliance with Rajinikanth if he acquires saffron hue.
Kamal said his colour of politics was black signifying Dravidian.
