The Arumughasamy commission had sought a list of all those who lived and worked in Poes Garden from Jayalalithaa’s personal secretary Poongundran. Poongundran reportedly furnished the details of 31 individuals. Rajammal was summoned as she was one among them. Sources said that during her deposition, Rajammal claimed to have met Jayalalithaa on September 23, a day after her hospitalisation.
Over the course of this week, former MP Manoj Pandian, Jayalalithaa’s driver Ayappan, and former MLA Anoor Jegadeesan are all scheduled to depose before the commission.
