Kamal Haasan inducts 500 biz women into party

The MNM president was happy to meet them and encouraged their growth – adding that they would play a key role in societal development. Kamal’s camp also added that women would have a prominent place in the party’s progress and it was a given that they stand for gender equality. 

Makkal Needhi Maiam also released a list of ten official speakers, which included several known faces from those who ascended the stage during the party launch in Madurai. Retired IPS AG Maurya, film director Murali Abbas, Ex IAS Rangarajan, entrepreneurs RR Sivaraman and Sowrirajan are listed as official speakers. Lyricist Snehan, actress Sripriya Rajkumar, professor Ku Gnanasambandhan, film producer Kameela Nasser and writer Bharathi Krishnakumar are also included.
