CBSE denies paper leak, government orders probe
Amid rumours that the Accountancy question paper of Class 12 examination was allegedly leaked in the social media, the CBSE on Thursday rubbished all hearsay and said that miscreants were trying to spread false news and disturb the sanctity of the examination.

The development comes after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted on Thursday morning about the complaints received by him in this regard. “Received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with CBSE,” he said on Twitter.
A senior CBSE official, however, said, “There has been no leakage of the question paper. All the seals have been found intact at all exam centres. However, at local level, some miscreants may have circulated messages through WhatsApp and other platforms to destroy the sanctity of the exam”.
Stating that strict action would be taken, the CBSE said thaat an FIR is also being lodged by the board. The police, however, said that they are yet to receive a complaint in this regard. Meanwhile, the Delhi government said that a probe has been orded into the case.
