“Students should be open to the world as opportunities are manifold. Never get influenced by negative ideas,” he said, while addressing them after inaugurating Mahatma Gandhi Central Library and Meditation Centre at Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore.

Tamil Nadu has made great strides in the education sector and is leading the country in number of students pursuing higher education, the Governor said. “Students should imbibe simplicity, honesty and humility as a path to a life of purpose,” he said.  The Governor also laid foundation stone for KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research on the occasion.
