Man, son die in Nellai as van hits bike
In a gruesome tragedy, a 42-year-old man and his minor son were killed, while three others were injured when a speeding minivan hit a motorcycle in the town on Friday.

Police said the deceased Muthu Nadar was riding a motorcycle along with his two sons Prathesh (14), Prakash (6) and daughter Brindha (13) to a temple festival at Sathankulam, when the minivan coming in the opposite direction crashed into their vehicle.
The minivan driver lost control after the accident due to which the vehicle overturned. While Muthu Nadar and Prakash were killed on the spot, Prathesh, Brindha and minivan driver Selvam were admitted in the government hospital here, police said.
