The division bench comprising Justice Huluvadi G Ramesh and Justice M Dhandapani before whom the PIL filed by S Kalimuthu Mylavan, an advocate, came up on Thursday, ordered notice after hearing submissions in this regard by Senior Counsel R Thyagarajan.
The Senior counsel submitted that even though the candidates have chosen three centres of their choice in their State of residence, the candidates from Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Nagerkovil and Tiruchy were allotted centres in Eranakulam in Kerala and in Rajasthan. The plea has sought the Court to quash the public notice issued by CBSE dated April 18, 2018 and for a subsequent direction to re-allot examination centres for TN candidates.
