Sources from the Assembly Secretariat said the Ministers would begin moving demands for grants for various departments as required for allocation of funds and get them passed in the House, which is expected to be in session until late June.

It may extend to July if the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) decides so. Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy CM O Panneerselvam and their senior colleagues in the cabinet had been brainstorming over the agenda of the session.

Apart from this, the CM has also been in touch with Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal on the session and the state’s requirements.
