Filing an additional affidavit in this regard before the vacation division bench comprising Justice V Parthiban and Justice PD Audikesavalu, the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), Anna University, submitted, “The additional demand draft payment module for payment gateway will be available at TFCs from May 18 onwards. This option may be exercised by those who may want to make the payment through Demand Draft only.”

“Since the online registration is already in progress, without stopping the running system this additional module facilitating payment by way of demand draft will require a week’s times for testing, validation and security check,” the affidavit said.

The bench during the earlier hearing sought to know as to how candidates whose parents who fail to have a bank account will be able to pay registration charges if the entire registration and counselling process was held online alone by accepting payments either through credit/debit cards or net banking.

TNEA has set up as many 42 TFCs covering all the districts in the State.
