DMK calls for MLAs meet before Assembly
The Opposition DMK has called for a meeting of its party MLAs on May 28 to discuss the strategy to be adopted in the Tamil Nadu Assembly session beginning on May 29.

In a statement, DMK Whip R Chakrapani said the meeting would be Chaired by Party working president MK Stalin. All the legislators were asked to attend the meeting without fail.
He said the meeting would be held at 5 pm at the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam. The Assembly session would last till July 9 during which the demand for grants for various departments would be taken up.
During the session, the DMK and its allies the Congress and the IUML were expected to raise a host of issues, including the Tuesday’s police firing incident on anti-sterlite protestors that claimed 13 lives in Thoothukudi
