Speaking to reporters, Radhakrishnan said those parties don’t want Tamil Nadu to develop and keep opposing development projects. “While Congress is inviting industries to open in Andhra Pradesh, they oppose similar projects in Tamil Nadu as they want unemployment to continue and don’t want the state to progress,” he said while participating in the district party executive meeting in Coimbatore.

The BJP leader also sought DMK working president MK Stalin to talk to Karnataka Chief Minister to lift the ban on Rajinikanth starrer Kaala. “I request Stalin to either talk over the phone or meet Karnataka CM to allow the release of at least one Tamil film there,” he said. Stating that PM Narendra Modi had solved the 150-year-old Cauvery issue, he said both the DMK and the Congress had betrayed the people.
