Justice Karnan to field women in all LS seats

Karnan, who created a judicial storm by rebelling against the Supreme Court and the judiciary and was jailed for six months in connection with a contempt case, would be formally unveiling his party name and the party flag at the memorial of architect of Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar in the city.

Karnan is the first retired judge to launch a political party, which was seen as a crusade against corruption. He has named the party as ‘Anti Corruption Dynamic National Party.’

Stating that women candidates would contest in all the 543 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 on behalf of his party, he said, “If my party comes to power, I will initiate legal action against all corrupt judges and officers for which a Special Act would be enacted in Parliament.
