M Karunanidhi discharged from Kauvery hospital after undergoing tracheostomy tube replacement
DMK Supremo M Karunanidhi reached his Gopalapuram home after getting discharged from Kauvery hospital for a tracheostomy tube replacement procedure today.

Karunanidhi had undergone a tracheostomy procedure to optimise breathing several times earlier along with other ailments like lung infection and skin allergy.
As per reports, DMK chief requires to repeat this procedure every six weeks in order to avoid the any further complication in breathing.
A tracheal tube is a catheter that is inserted into the trachea for the primary purpose of establishing and maintaining a patent airway and to ensure the adequate exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Members from his family and party - Rasathiammal, A Raja and Duraimurugan were present in the hospital along with swarming party supporters present outside the hospital premises.
Karunanidhi had already undergone a tracheostomy procedure to optimise breathing several times earlier along with treatment for other ailments like lung infection and skin allergy.
