Techie wanted by Andhra cops held
A 34-year-old man, who had a lookout circular against him by the Andhra Pradesh police in a domestic violence case for over two years, was arrested at the city airport when he returned from Kuwait on Friday morning.

The arrested was identified as Rangaprasad, a software engineer from Ongole in Andhra Pradesh. A case was registered based on a complaint from a woman, who is his relative, said sources.
After Rangaprasad came to know that police are searching for him, he fled the country. Following this, the Ongole district SP sent a lookout circular (LOC) against him to all the airports across the country.
When Rangaprasad landed in Chennai from Kuwait on Friday, immigration officials checked his travel documents and found that he was wanted by Andhra police. Later, on information, a police team from Ongole reached Chennai and arrested Rangaprasad.

The CCB arrested a 37-year-old man who tried to board a flight to Kuala Lumpur using a fake passport. The arrested was identified as P Shanmugam of Pudukkottai.
