In a statement here on Sunday, he said if the Centre brings common entrance examination on the lines of NEET exam for medical education, the rural students would be left behind.

AICTE chairman Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe has reportedly told reporters in Tiruchy on Saturday that this system will help students to avoid writing various entrance examinations to join specific engineering colleges and seek state governments’ support for this cause.
