TTV Dhinarakan’s brother Bhaskaran to float new party

As Dhinakaran was working to gain the confidence of the cadre across the state after the launch of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, the first blow came to him from his uncle (Sasikala’s ‘former’ brother) Dhivakaran.

Dhivakaran launching his own party gave a strong challenge to him as Dhinakaran had sidelined family members in the AMMK. However, Dhinakaran is to face a new rival from his family in his political career with his own brother Bhaskaran, who has been voicing against Dhinakaran in recent days, has declared on Sunday late evening that he would launch a new party.

Though it would not affect the prospects of Dhinakaran, the political observers claim that it is a moral setback for Dhinakaran. “While Dhinakaran has been strongly opposing the BJP, Bhaskaran has extended his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. This contradiction may play a spoilsport within the Sasikala clan,” said observers.

On Sunday evening, Bhaskaran organised a separate birth anniversary of MGR after which, he told the reporters that he would launch his party. “Prime Minister Modi has been leading a good government and he would soon weed out the corrupt people,” said Bhaskaran and claimed that most of the supporters of his brother Dhinakaran and his uncle Dhivakaran would join him soon after he launched the party.
