AP police arrest 4 Jolarpet men for attacking constables
Andhra Pradesh police arrested four men from Jolarpet, including a CRPF constable, for attacking two Andhra police constables on Wednesday. The gang attacked them when asked to not take bath in the Pillur dam.

The arrested were identified as the CRPF man Arun (28) and his friends Bhuvanesh (27), Jeeva (28) and Mani (27). They had gone to bathe in the dam near Vaniyambadi on the AP border. Officials had prohibited bathing as the 11 feet high dam was full to the brim.
Two constables attached to the Kuppam police station, who were on duty, noticed the youths bathing in the prohibited area and advised them against it.
This lead to an argument and the group of four attacked the policemen — Murugesh and Venketesh. Passers-by rushed to the aide of the constables and nabbed the attackers. While the cops were admitted at a hospital, The gang was remanded in judicial custody.
