DMK chief M Karunanidhi's mortal remains shifted to CIT colony residence

Mortal remains of DMK president M Karunanidhi arrived at CIT Colony where Rajathi Ammal and Kanimozhi reside. Sources said family members and public would be allowed to pay homage till 3 am.
Later, M Karunanidhi's body will be taken to Rajaji Hall for public homage from 4 am.
Police resorted to lathi-charge to control the crowd gathered outside Kanimozhi's residence.
Meanwhile, the hearing for DMK President's final resting place has been adjourned to 8:30 am following an emergency midnight court session at acting Chief Justice HG Ramesh’s residence.
