The girl was also recently inquired by a five-member disciplinary committee of the TNAU. The student continues to attend classes in regular dress as her demand to return the uniform, which she had left behind in hostel, has so far not been accepted by the college staff.

When the scandal broke out on August 21, she left the hostel without taking her belongings. The college reopened a week ago after the exams. While addressing reporters, she said her repeated requests to the institution to return her belongings, including her uniform, was ignored. The student also said that she was yet to receive the receipt for the fee paid.
