Speaking to reporters here, he said that there are a few people opposing the upcoming dye park in Karur and the government has been holding talks with the people who are opposing it.
Further, Thambidurai said that the decision on the release of seven convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case is with the Governor as the state government has already sent the recommendation decided at the cabinet meeting.
Charging that the centre had not allotted even a single paise for the model village project sponsored by the centre, Thambidurai said several such schemes are put on hold due to the failure in fund disbursal, he said.
Similarly, Thambidurai said that there is a secret nexus between the BJP and the DMK as their recent activities reveal clearly. “Moreover both the parties had shared the government from 1999 to 2004,” he pointed out.
