Expressing shock at reports that the AIADMK was contemplating notice to Karunaas, who was arrested and released on bail for making inflammatory public speech, Stalin accused the AIADMK regime of ambitiously plotting another disqualification even while the state was anticipating the High Court verdict in 18 MLAs disqualification case to ensure the longevity of the government.

“It is condemnable that the EPS government was staging all kinds of drama to avoid floor test and attempting to serve such a notice (to Karunaas),” he said. He also charged the CM with making a mockery of the Supreme Court verdicts, traditions and the oath of office he had assumed by exploiting the office to the Speaker, who ought to be impartial, for his political designs.

Accusing State Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan of shuffling officers to the convenience of corrupt AIADMK ministers, Stalin also blamed the Governor, who ought to send a report of the state administration to the Centre, for being a mute spectator to the corruptions and maladministration of the EPS regime merely because the state did not vote for BJP.

Stalin also sought the intervention of President Ram Nath Kovind to get the state rid of the “unconstitutional, minority” AIADMK regime and put it back on the track of progress in all sectors.
