“A pre-investment programme is ready and the same has been forwarded to the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC). The EFC will soon deliberate and forward the proposal to the cabinet for final clearance,” he said, adding that the PM believes in commissioning all health projects quickly.

Similarly, super multi-speciality complexes are being constructed at Madurai, Tirunelveli and Thanjavur, each at a cost of Rs 150 crore. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister will soon inaugurate the complexes.

Stating that the ongoing construction of HLL medical park at Chengalpattu is also in the final stage, Nadda said, “The Union health ministry would request the PM to inaugurate the mega project. All the health projects proposed in Tamil Nadu are cleared by the Centre and the people of Tamil Nadu will soon benefit from these projects.”
