Para games champ given grand welcome
K Jennitha Anto, the differently-abled chess player from Tiruchy, who bagged the gold medal in the just finished Asian Para Games in Indonesia, was warmly received at the airport here on Wednesday.

As many as 198 players from India took part in the competition. The Indian players secured 15 gold, 24 silver and 35 bronze medals in various events.
Jennitha Anto secured one gold, two silver and one bronze medal in chess.
She grabbed gold in individual rapid category and silver in individual standard and team rapid categories. Anto also secured bronze medal in the standard chess category.
Jennitha Anto, who arrived on Wednesday, was accorded a grand reception by Thaneer organisation at the airport.
