The training management system is a tailor made software that would help the teachers to manage all the work leading up to the courses, during the courses and after the courses. District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in the state has been entrusted to implement the management system, which has several features including data collection and maintenance of updated information on teachers, integration of training calendar and dissemination of information on time to teachers and schools.
In addition, other features of the system include attendance and acquittance online and on time and documents related to training. A senior official from Education Department said the training management is also designed to handle all back-office tasks related to running training sessions, such as administration tasks, process online course, reporting and sending surveys and findings to the students.
He added the software has been developed into a complete training solution to empower teachers through in-service training programme, duly focusing on their strengths and needs. “All government and aided schools from primary till high level in all the districts will get this system,” he said.
According to him, the training management systems will also be linked with learning management system, which was recently developed for students.
