Several trains to Arakkonam cancelled today and tomorrow
Pattern of train services in Chennai – Arakkonam section has been changed owing to line block in the section on October 28 and 29.

MMC-Tiruvallur EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 8.50 pm, MMC-Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 9.15 pm and 10.10 pm, MMC-Pattabiram E Depot EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 10.35 pm, MMC-Avadi EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 11.25 pm, Pattabiram E Depot-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Pattabiram E Depot at 7.35 pm and 9.50 pm, Pattabiram E Depot-Avadi EMU local scheduled to leave Pattabiram E Depot at 11.55 pm, Arakkonam-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 9.25 pm and 9.45 pm and Tiruttani-MMC EMU local schedule to leave Tiruttani at 9.45 pm would be cancelled on Sunday, a release from Southern Railway said.
Similarly, Chennai Beach- Tiruvallur EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 7.05 pm will be partially cancelled between Avadi-Tiruvallur. MMC- Tiruttani EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 7 pm will be partially cancelled between Tiruvallur-Tiruttani. MMC- Pattabiram E Depot EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 8.30 pm will be partially cancelled between Avadi- Pattabiram E Depot Siding. Arakkonam-MMC EMU local schedule to leave Arakkonam at 8.20 pm will be partially cancelled between Avadi-MMC. Tiruttani-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 8.20 pm will be partially cancelled between Tiruvallur-MMC. Tiruvallur-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Tiruvallur at 9.55 pm will be partially cancelled between Avadi-MMC. Pattabiram E Depot-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Pattabiram E Depot at 10.45 pm will be partially cancelled between Aavadi-MMC on Sunday.
On Monday, Chennai Beach-Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 1.20 am, Arakkonam-Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 4 am, MMC-Avadi EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 12.15 am and Avadi-MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Avadi at 4 am will be cancelled.
