BJP national secretary H Raja, known for his controversial remarks, on Tuesday expressed anguish over Kerala High Court allowing all people to offer worship at Sabarimala. “Will the court allow Ahmadi Muslims to enter all mosques,” asked Raja wondering is it correct to pass court orders just by reading two books.

Addressing a public meeting organised to popularise the schemes initiated by BJP-led Centre, Raja noted that the Hindus were being a soft target for so many groups and said that the Kerala government was hurting the sentiments of Ayyappa devotees by allowing women to enter the hill shrine of Lord Ayyappa who is a celibate. The entry of woman activists under the guise of implementing Supreme Court order in Kerala has not gone well among the Hindus, he said.

“The officials attached to Hindu Religious Charities and Endowments have started plundering the temple wealth and I pray to Ayyappa that the IG Pon Manickavel investigating the missing idol case gets an extension,” Raja said raising the eyebrows of onlookers. Raja also said Congress leader P Chidambaram would soon be arrested. “Time had arrived for the former finance minister to visit Tihar jail, he said adding that at the time of his arrest Chidambaram will understand – what is black money,” Raja said levelling a series of allegations against the Congress leader.

Raja also emphasised that the cost of petrol and diesel prices would further come down by at least Rs 15 as the Centre was fighting against inflation.

This is the second time that the BJP leader had openly commented against the judiciary. During Vinayaga Chaturthi celebrations Raja courted controversy saying that the Tamil Nadu police was anti-Hindu and used strong language against the Madras High Court. After being summoned by the High Court Raja, Raja submitted an apology and it was accepted.
